Airmar P79 In-Hull Transducer - 235 kHz Item # 1077876
Description
The P79 brings depth intelligence to your boat. Featuring Airmar's Smart™ Sensor technology, the P79 delivers processed depth data right to the onboard network for multiple displays to use. Smart Sensors have embedded microelectronics - the transducer element and signal processor are only millimeters apart. The signal from the depth transducer is processed right inside the sensor itself. All that is needed to receive depth data is a single cable into a compatible network or display.

Questions
Is this compatible with the Faria DS0110 Chesapeake SS White Depth Sounder?
This would work if you select the bare wire option and use the existing plug - you'd be able to splice it in place. If this does not work, Faria does sell this transducer with the correct plug attached - Defender does not sell it. The Faria part number is SN2010.
