Andersen 40ST E1 Electric Conversion Kit

Andersen E1 Single Speed Electric Conversion Kits are available for Andersen self-tailing winches ranging from size 28ST - 72ST for either 12V or 24V systems. If your Andersen Winch is less than 20 years old, there's a great chance it is already designed to incorporate an electric conversion kit and installation will be very simple.

The Andersen E1 Motor is a high quality European engineered and manufactured series wound motor. Carefully matched with the optimal gearbox, they deliver high speed at low load for fast sheeting in, and low speed at high load for safe, fine tuning when trimming. The motors are available in 12V and 24V models, providing smooth and quiet operation across a wide working load range. A secondary push button (RA582000) may be added at any time by connecting in parallel with the primary push button. The deck plate features an octagonal cutout allowing for 8 different motor mounting orientations at 45 deg. intervals.

Note: The Andersen winch base stamp will indicate the version number and date of manufacture and should be checked to verify compatibility. Circuit breakers are sold separately and must be "slow blow" or "long delay" type. Marine weatherproof rated, DC power systems only.
