The Barton Stanchion Ratchet Block 60160 helps reduce crew effort when furling the jib by providing controlled line tension with a built-in ratchet brake. Easy to fit onto a standard 1" stanchion, it locks the line in one direction while allowing smooth adjustment. Stainless steel clamping ring ensures secure, angled mounting.

Description
This Stanchion Ratchet Block is ideal for removing some of the loadings for the crew when furling in the jib. The ratchet means that the sheave can be locked in place in one direction offering a friction brake against the pull of the sail. It is quick and simple to fit onto a standard 1" (25 mm) guard rail stanchion. Adjustment is easy with the stainless steel clamping ring which allows mounting of the block at any angle.
