When propane reaches 20% of the lower explosive limit, the system sounds a loud alarm, lights a red LED, and automatically shuts off the gas supply to prevent injury and explosions. Description
The FireBoy Propane Fume Detector with (1) Sensor and solenoid detects propane leaks in the area covered by the sensor early to prevent personal injury and possible explosions. If propane is detected at 20% of the LEL (lower explosive limit), the solenoid will automatically shut off the gas supply to prevent personal injury and possible explosions. At the same time a 68 dBA alarm will sound, a red LED will illuminate to alert the people on board of the emergency.
