Am I paying duties if the order is first shipping from the U.S.?

Absolutely not. We handle all duties and import fees upfront, so the price you see at checkout is the final price you’ll pay—no hidden charges, no surprises when your order arrives.

My order says "ships same day," so why did it take so long to get to me?

"Ships same day" means your order leaves our U.S. warehouse on the same business day. However, it still needs to travel to our Canadian facility before being sent to you. This cross-border step can add a few business days depending on processing times. We always aim to deliver your order as quickly as possible, and you can find an estimated delivery date at the bottom of your Cart and during checkout for full transparency.

How can I expedite the shipping to me?

While the transfer from our U.S. warehouse to our Canadian facility happens as fast as possible, you can choose an express shipping method—such as Purolator or Canada Post—for the final delivery leg within Canada. Delivery times vary based on the shipping option selected at checkout, and estimates will be provided so you can choose what works best for you.

Will US shipping be possible?

Yes, but not from Defender Canada. Simply use our US website, defender.com, to ship to US addresses. You can switch locales by using the flag icons in the website header, footer, or mobile menu.

Why use the Canadian site?

If you're in Canada, there's no reason not to. Our Canadian site allows us to sell product in CAD$, ensuring fast, customs-free shipping and hassle-free delivery for our Canadian customers.

What product selection will be available on Defender Canada?

Everything, except for boats and motors, for now. Certain products could be unavailable due to vendor restrictions.

Do I need to create a new Defender Canada account?

Yes, Defender Canada is a brand new website. We've set up new systems to offer Canadian shipping, Canadian pricing, and more.
