Designed as a sacrificial anode, it absorbs harmful electrical currents to extend the life of your unit. Kasco recommends regular inspection and annual replacement for optimal protection.

Description
Each Kasco unit includes a sacrificial anode to help prevent corrosion and electrolysis. Kasco recommends that you replace the anode every year or sooner if it is more than 50% depleted or white in color.
Features:
- Sacrificial anodes are available for 1/2" and 5/8" motor shaft
- Kasco recommends checking the anode at least every two to three months
Specifications:
- 1/2" size fits both 1/2 HP and 3/4 HP units
- 5/8" size fits 1 HP unit
