March LC-3M-MD Submersible Magnetic Drive Pump Item # 2224762
Description
March Pump's industrial LC-3M-MD is an American submersible seal-less centrifugal magnetic drive marine pump ideal for marine applications. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 8.5 gal per minute at 4', and its maximum head is 19' (8 PSI). The LC-3M-MD pump may be used submerged or not submerged. The pump is ignition protected per SAE J1171 and ISO 8846, and has extended run dry protection through the use of a carbon bushing. It is capable of 24,000 BTU an hour.
March C and CP series magnetic-drive pumps have long been trusted for marine seawater circulation thanks to their reliable seal-less centrifugal design. New M-series pumps were designed with marine specific improvements including enhanced corrosion protection, extended run-dry protection, and standardized configurations for continuous sea water and fresh water circulation systems.

Notes:
- This pump is not self-priming, a non-self-priming pump cannot remove air from its suction line by itself and must already be filled with liquid before it can move fluid:
- Starting the pump dry may cause it to overheat, cause damage to seals or internal components, and will not move water
- It is recommended to use a water strainer with this pump (not included)
