Maretron Battery Voltage Sense/Power Cable - FC01

The Battery Sense / Power cable (FC01) is a battery harness with fuse for the Maretron DCM100 Direct Current DC Monitor.

Features:

• Provides battery sense and power
• For use with DCM100 Direct Current (DC) Monitor (Sold Separately)
• Length: 5 feet
• Includes 1 amp Fuse

Install the Battery Sense cable as follows:

• Connect the yellow wire from one end of the cable to pin 6 (VSENS-) on the DCM100
• Connect the yellow wire from the other end of the cable to the negative terminal of the battery or DC source being monitored
  • This may or may not be the same as the vessel ground this terminal either must be at the same voltage as pin 7 (VPWR-) or must have a positive voltage with respect to pin 7 (VPWR-)
• Connect the red wire from the first end of the cable to pin 5 (VSENS+) on the DCM100
• Connect the red wire from the other end of the cable to the positive terminal of the battery or DC source being monitored

Install the Power cable as follows:

• (FC01) is a white cable containing one red and one yellow wire
  • Note: This power cable is essential to operation since it provides power for the DCM100 to function
  • Install the DCM100 power cable as follows:
• Connect the yellow wire from one end of the cable to pin 7(VPWR-) on the DCM100
  • Note: This terminal either must be at the same voltage as pin 6 (VSENS-) or must have a negative voltage with respect to pin 6 (VSENS-)
• Connect the yellow wire from the other end of the cable to the vessel ground
• Connect the red wire from the first end of the cable to pin 8(VPWR+) on the DCM100
• Connect the red wire from the other end of the cable to a source of 9-32 VDC power
  • Note: This wire may nor may not be connected to the same place as the red wire from the Battery Sense cable
