Maxwell Chain Snubber

A chain snubber's purpose is to take the load off the anchor winch they are recommended to secure the anchor while underway or at anchor in choppy water. Snubbers also reduce the chain rattle noise when at anchor. The snubber size needs to match your chain size as it hooks over the chain.
