The Maxwell HRCFF812V Horizontal Windlass provides high speed, jam-free retrieval of line and chain controlled from remote panel-mounted Up / Down switch.

Features:

• Horizontal rope / chain windlass features automatic free-fall technology for anchor lowering and retrieval
• Activate windlass freefall lever, then operate your down control at helm station or footswitch windlass will release clutch and allow anchor to freefall
• To retrieve anchor, activate up control and free fall device automatically disengages, allowing you to power up anchor
• High speed, jam-free retrieval of line and chain controlled from remote panel-mounted Up / Down switch
• Highly efficient spur gearbox includes a robust non-backwind mechanism
• Innovative Wave Design™ chainwheel works with 1/4" or 5/16" short-link marine chain (HT or BBB), and provides outstanding holding power with less wear and tear on anchor line
