Description
Single Direction Solenoids should be used where only single direction motor rotation is required - typically with rope capstans such as the Maxwell AnchorMax and VC vertical capstans. However, they can also be used with VW windlasses where deploying the anchor by free fall is an option, and the windlass motor is only used to retrieve the anchor - if desired.
Features:
- Available in 12 of 24V DC for permanent magnet 2 terminal (PM), series wound 3 terminal (SW) and Field wound 4 terminal (FW) motors
- Single direction solenoid kits contain one solenoid, while dual direction solenoid kits contain two solenoids - one for each direction
- Heavy duty solenoids, suitably rated for Maxwell windlass motors
- Installation in a dry area is always recommended
