Mechanical efficiency is one of Scandvik's test parameters. Note that increasing tightening torque does not always mean an increase in clamping force! Here clamp design and lubrication play a vital role. Scandvik's Technical Center has state-of-the-art equipment for testing pressure, vibration and temperature variations, all of which are parameters that over time will affect a hose or pipe connection.
