- Add-on Cowls redirect water flow away from other obstructions on the transom, and they enable installation on shallow draft sterns.
- The addition of a cowl to transom-mounted Side Power thruster systems makes it possible to allow a thruster installation in boats with shallow draft or obstructions on the stern.
Long Models: The long model is made for maximum thrust while still allowing a shallow installation, it will only reduce the thrust by approx. 5-10% compared to a perfect stern thruster installation without any cowls.
