The Switlik MOM 8-S Man Overboard Module is designed as a lighter, smaller version of the MOM 8-A, the compact MOM™ 8-S and includes Switlik's new Underarm Flotation Device (UFD), It's rigged for manual activation and inflates quickly by pulling red handle on top of storage valise

• Rigged for manual activation, the MOM 8-S inflates quickly by pulling red handle on top of storage valise
• Failsafe ensures both the UFD and pylon inflate once deployed
• Inflatable flotation device (UFD) provides 35 lbs of buoyancy and can be used multiple times
• Once inflated, ballasted locator pylon has height of 6 ft. above water's surface
• Pylon has SOLAS reflective panels and water-activated flashing light at top
• Lithium battery-powered flashing light can be seen up to (1) nautical mile under normal conditions
• Ballasted, self-opening 16" dia. drogue tethered to UFD and pylon reduces downwind drift
• Soft-pack Herculite® storage valise is resistant to abrasion, mildew and UV exposure
• Mount: The soft case has a lacing system for attachment
  • Unit mounts securely to stern pulpit and includes quick-disconnect buckle
