Description
Specially designed for high performance, high torque applications, the SilverSteer™ UC128-SVS cylinder is recommended for bass boats, flat boats, and tournament fishing boats. Compatible with competing helms, hoses, and oil, the UC128-SVS cylinder is built to last with heavy-duty stainless steel cylinder rods, seals, and link assemblies. Constructed of top-grade materials, this cylinder is simple to install and fits almost every two and four-stroke outboard engine on the market.
Features:
- Balanced: the number of wheel turns lock-to-lock is equal port to starboard or vice-versa
- Adjustable boss style fittings for easy installation
- High resistance stainless steel connection bolt (ULTRABOLT)
- Replaceable cylinder end caps
- Available in 2 versions - UC128-SVS/1, UC128-SVS/2 (see application guide to select the appropriate version)
- Recommended for use with UP25, UP28, UP33, and UP39 series helms and preassembled hoses (Kit OB and Kit OB/R5)
- For dual applications: order a standard UC128-SVS (link arm on starboard side) and a UC128P-SVS (link arm on port side). The UC128P-SVS is available in 2 versions depending on application

Applications:
- UC128-SVS front mount cylinder is not recommended for use in installations where the boat speed exceeds 69 mph (60 knots)
- For dual engine, dual cylinder, and counter rotating applications, the limit is 75 mph (65 knots)
- Not intended for use in racing applications
