Thank you for reaching out to the Defender Team! I believe you are referring to the terminals used to connect the inverter. If you go to https://xantrex.com/library/inverters/xpower-450/owners-guide/ you are going to find the manual for this inverter. On pages 9 - 15 of the instruction manual for this Xantrex Xpower 450 Inverter - model 851-0451it shows two Xantrex connection types for this inverter. One you plug into a 12V lighter socket and the other end connects with terminals to the inverter. The other clamps to a battery on one end and has terminals to connect to the inverter. There are instructions on how to hard wire this inverter to your battery on page 14-15.
