Designed for aluminum boats, it provides effective isolation without heat buildup and works with 115V or 230V shore connections up to 50 amps. Description
Formerly known as Yandina, the SmartShore Marine GI+ Galvanic Isolator PLUS for Aluminum Boats blocks electrolysis currents from flowing in the ground conductor of your shore power hookup.
Features:
- Provides approximately +/- 2.5V isolation in the ground lead of your shore power supply
- Isolates DC and AC electrolytic voltages coming from the dock
- For use on any shore power connection up to 50 amps
- Only (1) required for dual 30 amp connections
- No heat produced under normal use
- Works on 115 or 230V supply, one or two phase
- Will work on foreign hook-ups with ground wire
- Non metallic housing with mounting tabs
- Ignition protected for use in explosive atmospheres
- Meets ABYC standards (except voltage is doubled)
- Includes mounting and connection hardware, as well as (2) 18" 10 gauge marine grade leads
- Optional capacitor available for AC leakage (sold separately)
