Shimano designed the Current Sniper Splash Walk with one goal: drive large predators crazy. The lure's nearly stationary walk-the-dog action keeps the lure in the strike zone longer, while its low-pitch knock is sure to get the attention of any large game fish - especially big striped bass. Engineered to be much heavier in the tail section, the lure sits vertical — rather than horizontal - when paused. This innovative design increases hookup ratios and lessens the chance of a large fish missing the bait and knocking the plug out of the water during aggressive strikes. The Current Sniper Splash Walk also incorporates Shimano's through-wire construction for added durability during tough fights with big fish and a Scale Boost finish to give the lure a lifelike appearance.
