The lever drag design offers easy and consistent drag adjustment with stabilized performance in high drag situations - an essential factor with a reel capable of producing 44 lbs of drag. Shimano's Infinity Drive technology within the Ocea Jigger 2500 LD incorporates a new drag design that increases drag force while decreasing side load pressure to produce up to 30% lighter rotation during tough battles. Available in two gear offerings - MG (5.7:1) and HG (6.2:1) - anglers can decide which model fits their jigging style and situation the best. With a retrieval rate of 47" per turn, the HG model enables anglers to present jigs with finesse in deep water situations while providing quicker retrieval from the depths. The MG model is ideal for anglers fishing up to 150' or in situations where drag strength and winding power are paramount.
