The Suncor Extra Heavy Duty Thimble is precision cast 304 stainless steel, not stamped flat steel, and is designed for Dyneema, AmSteel and Wire Rope . It has exceptional resistance to wear or crushing which protects the rope you have spliced around it or the wire you have crimped around it.
