Confirm your size and application, keep in mind that boat thrusters are delivered by freight line only and they can be quite the investment so find a professional for installation.

Today's bow thrusters are ignition-protected meaning that retrofitting one into a gas-powered boat is safe. Not your typical DIY project, installation of a bow thruster should be left up to a reputable boat yard with hook-up and marine electrical experts.

Bow thrusters have propellers inside and propellers eventually need to be replaced. Bow thrusters also have wiring harnesses and switches ? the electrical component means electrolysis and therefore zincs and anodes are available as well. Replacement tunnels are also available at Defender Marine.
